So will there be no performances, period? Or is it that they are booking performers (regardless of whether the are nominated that year)? If it's the latter, they should book Ari/Cynthia to perform something from Wicked :gaycat1:

I feel like it's because the EP cast was refusing to perform live so they had to scrap the whole thing :skull:

Apparently, they wanted the Wicked cast to perform several songs so they had no other choice.

She missed the Original Song shortlist so she won't be getting nominated tomorrow anyway.

 

Weird decision, this at least justifies the running time and is usually such a memorable part of the show.

I lowkey think this is exactly the reason :rip:  Selena is probably never giving a televised performance again and we already learned about AI helping Karla

But seriously, I don't love this decision... the musical moments can be big highlights for the show like I'm Just Ken last year. There seem to be very few memorable songs this year, but even then I'd still want to hear some of those songs performed.

Zoe was down for it. 

 

The jokes are funny indeed since selena did that to herself answering those questions negatively, bust based on the last one that she seemed more thoughtful about it i do think Selena would do it if it was alongside Zoe, like an Emilia Perez medley. My girl likes company... After the AMAs fiasco, 2 performances with Coldplay, one on a huge concert and one on TV.

This specifically states "original songs" ,none of the songs in Wicked Part 1 are original, there's a good chance they will still be performed  :giraffe:
