2020 was so.. traumatic and part of why the progressive movement ran out of gas post-2020 is that Bernie disappointed so many.

 

The average day in February 2020 would go something like:

 

"BERNIE SANDERS APOLOGIZES FOR SURROGATE'S CRITICISM OVER BIDEN'S PAST REMARKS ON WANTING TO CUT SOCIAL SECURITY"

 

*1 hour later*

 

"BIDEN SUPPORTER GOES VIRAL FOR CALLING BERNIE SANDERS A "FAKE ******* JEW" AND WISHING HE DIED A PAINFUL DEATH"

 

Sanders was not 1/100th as ruthless and evil as dementia-riddled Biden and the progressive movement essentially burnt out due to his lack of will.

 

Many progressives of the Sanders movement had no fear or will to hold their tongue over criticizing Harris in 2024 as she oversaw a Holocaust because we saw Biden and his supporters be vicious all while Sanders was clearly disturbed by claims that "criticizing your opponent harshly in the primary will hurt their chances in the election" and so every criticism was then shoehorned in with "...but of course we must defeat Trump and my dear friend Joe is just as good".
