DevilsRollTheDice Posted Friday at 02:54 PM Posted Friday at 02:54 PM (edited) High key f*** him for not just planning to not run again from the jump, but this is also kinda crazy. Just as much blame lies at the feet of the people in his orbit. Also shows how much of a total wipeout Harris prevented. In the end, it was quite a tight election both nationally and in the swing states. Incumbent parties lost all around the world for sentiment surrounding the economic recovery from the pandemic. The more we learn the more the election generally seems inevitable. Not to say Democrats don't do stupid things or that Harris ran a perfect campaign, but Trump was eyeing 400+ electoral votes before the switch. Who knows, a messy Dem primary may have worsened the situation. We'll never know for sure. American sentiment was already so divorced from reality due to the wave of misinformation and fewer and fewer people consuming credible news. Edited Friday at 02:56 PM by DevilsRollTheDice 12
Vermillion Posted Friday at 03:00 PM Author Posted Friday at 03:00 PM The Beltway Monday morning quarterbacks keep screaming about Biden's withdrawal saving the Upper Midwest Senators razor thin margins but have nothing and will have nothing to say about the Gaza non-voters. Deciding what to report and not to report is inherently opinion. These access journalists and pollster analysts rinse the gasoline off their hands and claim they didn't start the fire. **** all of them. 2
ZeroSuitBritney Posted Friday at 03:13 PM Posted Friday at 03:13 PM Sounds like a 5 percent over-estimate tbh,
wastedpotential Posted Friday at 03:27 PM Posted Friday at 03:27 PM ddd bold to assume they didn't tell him 2
loveisdead9582 Posted Friday at 04:56 PM Posted Friday at 04:56 PM I'm certainly not making excuses for Biden here, but whoever is in charge of the DNC really needed to have an actual conversation with Biden far earlier on. Surely he had to know that his polling rates were abysmal. We will never know for sure if someone else would have won had they allowed for other candidates to run in the primaries, but I can't imagine an outcome that wouldn't have been a little better than what happened.
ClashAndBurn Posted Friday at 05:00 PM Posted Friday at 05:00 PM It's probably less that he didn't know he was in bad shape electorally, but that he was stubborn and completely in denial, believing that the polls were fake and there was no way he could possibly be that far behind. He's completely delusional and detached from reality. His assertions that he could have beaten Trump and his petulant anger towards Pelosi belie that basic fact.
Marianah Adkins Posted Friday at 06:21 PM Posted Friday at 06:21 PM Denial is a river in Egypt as they say. Cant blame him, I'd be delulu too if I'm learning that I'm going to get crushed by an orange clown
byzantium Posted Friday at 06:38 PM Posted Friday at 06:38 PM The most surprising thing about this is that Schumer was stunned that Biden did not know something. Talk about the democrats being completely out of touch with the American people.
Armani? Posted Friday at 06:47 PM Posted Friday at 06:47 PM Embarrassing, incompetent administration 1
