Wendy Williams calls into Don Lemon Show, exposes guardianship #FreeWendy

No one is saying that she doesn't need some sort of care, but it needs to be with her family. Keeping her a prisoner in a facility and controlling everything she does is NOT healthy for her. It will do way more damage to her than anything else.

Look at the damage of 13 years did to Britney being drugged against her will and a prisoner. It does not help them.

She's clearly not mentally incapacitated to the extent that her handlers are suggesting and anyone saying otherwise obviously isn't familiar with Wendy :rip:

Hopefully this exposé is the beginning of the end of this terrible situation for her.

The scary thing is we need to act FAST. These corrupt guardianships/conservatorships (same thing) are all about the control and money. Now that she has spoken out and fought back these conservators are going to try and silence her even more. They did it to Britney and she was constantly fighting back for years behind the scenes. We need to be her voice now.

Obviously we can only speculate, but it feels like to me that there IS some kind of medical situation going on

However, I feel the people behind this conservatorship might have vastly exaggerated it in order to get the control they wanted. Ms Wendy said it herself, there are people making money from her situation right now. We know from Britney's situation that the conservatorship process is highly flawed and can be prone to manipulation.

We all know she has a tricky past, but if she's truly not as unwell as the conservators are alleging, then nobody deserves to be entrapped like this. It's a horrible predicament to be in.

Is "you know what I'm saying" some kind of code we can solve?

I think she sounded great, she could explain her situation well, she was talking coherently.

She did repeat herself and say "you know what i'm saying" multiple times, but as others have said, I think it was asking people to read between the lines

Her situation sounds scary and I'm sure she has to watch what she says publicly for her safety

**** conservatorships and free wendy, this is very sad

I believe that she does have a cognitive issue but may be lucid right now or it's not actually dementia. She sounds pretty clear for the most part but she repeats a lot of what she says. She's definitely not "incapacitated."

She also spoke to the Breakfast Club and it's pretty obvious that she doesn't have dementia. The part where she started crying is really sad.

She has been locked in a facility against her will for 3 years, is rarely allowed to leave it and can barely see her family… I think anyone under these circumstances would not be mentally well from all the emotional abuse.

That's not really how dementia works and the majority of atrl that is unqualified to make that diagnosis really shouldn't be speculating. Whether or not she should be in a conservatorship, I don't know.

It's weird but she seems to have improved? Like when she was with Blac Chyna in the documentary she was completely gone. Her situation reminds me of Britney, hope her family can help her

She was also drinking very heavily at that time and is an alcoholic, I feel like that was a lot of her issues. Sounds like she's sober and a clear head.

Hmm that is what I'm thinking. Like it's not just an idiosyncrasy, she's saying it for a reason. I feel like every time she said it, it was her way of telling us to infer or look into her words…

Isn't it weird that she can call radio stations and such and complain about her c-ship while currently being under it? I'd imagine they wouldn't allow her to expose them like that. Correct me if I'm wrong but the first time we heard Britney talk about hers was through a court hearing that was carried out via zoom or sth.

Britney's was controlled even worse because she had her own family apart of it and silencing her. Wendy atleast has her family on her side, thankfully.

Britney is definitely gonna get involved and set things in motion when she finds out about this. She'll be a fierce advocate.

Unfortunately, I agree. I think this interview had less guardrails than The Breakfast Club so it's is a little bit more apparent. This is definitely an improvement to when we last heard from her in the Lifetime documentary but for the people saying she is 100% fine or back to normal it is just not true.

I don't believe she should be held prisoner in this facility but I'm not sure releasing her to her family is right either. I mean, where were they when she was living on her own and drinking herself to death? She needs some kind of actual care in place.

An impairment but NOT dementia. It sounds and looks nothing like dementia.

I think she probably was also a little nervous to speak because she KNOWS people are gonna dissect her dialogue and speech patterns. So that may have also been a factor as to why she kept repeating herself. Filling space so there was no awkwardness

Um. She sounds fine to me. What is going on???

Her family could treat her worse and empty her bank accounts quicker than having an appointed conservator. Nobody entirely knows the situation.

Two things can be true at once, the people surrounding her can be leeches while wendy can still need care. Shes more coherent than before but the damage is obviously done. She needs help most of the time, her speech IS impaired no matter which way u slice it
