It's not like he paid official firefighters and drew resources elsewhere. Private means private.

Even if he wasn't diverting firefighters from the official LA Department to protect his business, he was most likely utilizing water that could've been used to keep other people's houses from burning down. 5

John Slayne Posted 43 minutes ago Posted 43 minutes ago the bootlicking here is crazy. even if he's not using public fire service, in an emergency like this he could instead hire the crew to help where it's actually needed and save people's lives, houses, schools, etc. idk why it's so normalised that some people just hoard resources and then use them to protect themselves meanwhile thousands are literally losing everything they own. this man literally just threw his city under the bus for his own benefit, this is why the rich have to be eaten 1
