But wait I've never done this. I have to pay a €60 fee for my WizzAir flight if I want to cancel it?! :deadvision: and RyanAir is even more strict. **** what now, I'll probably have to go :cries2:

Is paying a €60 cancellation fee worse than having to pay hundreds or thousands on your trip?

If you are financially not in a very good position right now and you are uncertain about figuring out from who to borrow the money at home in order to survive in the future and if your parents are not quite well and depend on you during the winter and against the trip since cause its not a direct flight and take a lot of time to a destination which will make them worry and put the health underline and that they need to figure things out when you're not there and also you're are not in the mood to go too all these lead you should not go.

Save enough money and then try in spring or summer.

You're still cancelling bb. Even if you have to lose some money, you'll learn from this.

First your multiple threads on stalking and being obsessed with that hot co-worker and now this.

You sound like such an exhausting and insecure person to be around.

Your whole essay SCREAMS "cancel it... yesterday" lol

I always pay cash when buying things that are in the high hundreds to low-to-mid thousands range. Unless it's a necessity or absolutely necessary you should never be going into debt to pay for things, and a holiday certainly isn't one of them so imo you shouldn't go

But it's two weeks before the trip, so expect your friends to be (rightfully) upset and also mad for cancelling on such short notice

girl why would you put yourself in that financial stress of borrowing money just to go somewhere with people you don't even like that much…:bibliahh:

If I ever borrow, it's only from my brother. I know he's got money and he knows I'll give it back ASAP.

If you decide not to go through with the trip, don't cancel the ticket - just don't show up for the flight.

Don't ever get yourself in a financially uncomfortable situation just because of FOMO

You don't want to go, you don't have the money and your parents need you. I think the answer is pretty obvious sis

You're not even gonna have as much fun if you would if you were more comfortable… My trip to Turkey in 2023 was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen and even looking back I keep thinking how much anxiety I was having over money when I should've been fully enjoying myself

Right this whole situation is stupid af. Imagine going into debt for a vacation you don't even want to go just to "impress" your colleagues (they 100% dgaf LOL) + having family that depend on you.
