Was just talking about this yesterday with friends. She/her team are probably recalibrating some things after Disease flopped; promo strategy, at the very least, but maybe even the alberm. Considering DWAS got added, I wouldn't rule out the latter.

OT: Chromatica album was announced only 1 month and 9 days before it was supposed to come out originally. Same with Joanne.

yes, adding 4 songs to an album you created years ago and after the vinyls were already pressed is exactly the same as being too scared to announce your album you've been teasing for 7 months because your lead single flopped, there's no hype from the gp, and your label is forcing changes to avoid another bomb

She's clearly "recalibrating" after Disease barely made a dent on the charts. The video linked in the OP is basically just her boasting about the song's stats without any insight about the creative process or any kind of behind-the-scenes tidbits. She obviously cares about chart achievements more than artistic integrity despite what her fans want you to believe.
