I'm trying not to get my hopes too high. Glenn Close delivered one of the most raw and powerful Golden Globes speeches of all-time and she still lost to Olivia Colman.

A veteran actor undervalued by critics for decades finally having her shining star moment in an absurd crowd pleaser about aging in Hollywood I mean come on... 8

Demi is the Glenn AND Olivia in this situation, she's winning unless someone randomly wins SAG and BAFTA.
Alaska. Posted Monday at 09:25 AM Posted Monday at 09:25 AM This is so important for Demi and the horror genre itself I'm gonna be shocked if she actually wins the Oscar, but it would be so well deserved 2
Capris Groove Posted Monday at 09:30 AM Posted Monday at 09:30 AM What an amazing speech, and to think it was relatively unscripted. She's a fantastic orator. I want to pick up her memoir now. 1

Princess Aurora Posted Monday at 12:05 PM Posted Monday at 12:05 PM That movie deserved it. She was amazing at portraying that role
NoAngelus Posted Monday at 12:18 PM Posted Monday at 12:18 PM Wow I'm so happy for Demi, when I saw movie back in September I never thought it would manage to hold on its hype until awards season and her getting nomination was the big win and maybe biggest obstacle. If she gets nominated at Oscars I could see her winning now which would be amazing thing for Hollywood since this is genre movie. 1

That's why Pamela should take the Oscar if Demi got her Golden Globe.
SinnerCity Posted Monday at 01:29 PM Posted Monday at 01:29 PM Crazy to think she's never won anything until now, she's always been an icon and she has some great projects under her belt so this warms my heart, The Substance is my favourite film this year, hopefully she also wins an Oscar, it'll be truly deserving 2
