"You will pay the price": Israeli parliamentarian threatens Brazil due to legal action against Israeli soldier Yuval Vagdani, accused of war crimes in Gaza and who is in Brazil as a tourist.

 

Dan Illouz, a member of Netanyahu's party, stated that "Brazil has become a state sponsor of terrorists", that "Israel will not stand idly by in the face of the persecution of its soldiers" and concluded by saying that Brazil "will pay the price if it does not change its conduct".

 

The current whereabouts of Israeli soldier Yuval Vagdani remain unknown. According to the Hind Rajab Foundation, the Israeli government is trying to help Vagdani leave Brazilian territory.
