Am not too happy. I'm watching the third season of Making the Cut and it's a cute show.

I'm sad because Making The Cut was so good, way better than Project Runway. Also, what about Tim???

I am very happy for Heidi’s return and as much as I like Tim, I hope Christian is still mentoring.

Finally she has something to look forward to besides Halloween

Article is behind a paywall, does it say why now?

She and Tim left bc they "wanted more creative freedom and felt the show's format was becoming too restrictive" so I wonder what made her come back. I guess $$$$.

I never cared for the new host, it always feels like Christian should be the host. But Heidi + Christian would be great.

Wait project runway is still going on???

back to 3 shows for her then.

I wonder if/when Tyra will have a comeback.

I didn't know this was still on. What happened with Nina Garcia? She was like the Simon Cowell of the show but with way more class. Very iconic.

She has Germany's Next Topmodel every year, season 20 starts in February.

I wonder what this means for Tim. I feel like he's burned a lot of bridges at this point.

Sometimes I wonder if the US GP actually likes this woman because not a single soul in Germany can stand Heidi and those who do watch her shows view her as a hate watch factor in them. :dies:

I love how nonchalant she is about showing how horrible she is :dies:

No word on if Nina García is returning; it was announced in October 2024 that the series would return with "new host, new judges and a new network". It's going to air later this year on Freeform.

why don't they like her? :eli:

OT: it would be interesting to see how she changed after her last appearance on Project Runway. she could be quite blunt and harsh with her critique back in the day.

I haven't watched Making the Cut so I have no idea what she's like now.

Unlike Tyra who gets criticized too but I think is ultimately seen as unserious and camp, Heidi is really just seen as fake, mean, irritating, annoying and kind of a joke. There was a big backlash over Germany's Next Topmodel a few years ago that became much bigger than a Twitter thing and mainstream media picked up on it (there were lawsuits, it was addressed on the show etc.). The treatment and depiction of women is way worse than on ANTM (not sure if it's changed, haven't seen it in years).

These parodies of her are kind of iconic. :dies:
