Slap Posted Friday at 11:41 PM Posted Friday at 11:41 PM Absolutely iconic. Never got into the album aside from the singles but really enjoyed this era and the cane was such a vibe. 2
Bloodflowers. Posted Friday at 11:52 PM Posted Friday at 11:52 PM She was at her lowest. Broken engagement with Ben Affleck. Gigli panned. Gigli bombed. Won a Razzie. I'm Glad music video taken down due to copyright claim and previous album era got cut short. Celebrity magazines being ruthless to her private life. Movie role offers disappearing left and right after Gigli. Paula Abdul didn't wanna leave American Idol yet. She came on this Amerie b-side banger MAD AS HELL and turned it into a one last global smash before disappearing until 2011's On the Floor 3 5

Get Right was the consolation prize, which was handed to her from Usher's vault (without his knowledge or approval, though he miraculously got his writing credits...eventually). Y'anna Crawley is also singing the chorus and all backgrounds (along with another singer called Rudaina) too, but from what I hear, she wasn't mad at it since J.Lo's team cut her a check big enough to buy diamonds with. So everybody won in the end. Edited Saturday at 12:01 AM by Zack 3

Soda Pop Queen Posted Saturday at 06:47 AM Posted Saturday at 06:47 AM It is a bop, even though she stole it out from under Usher lol I wonder what his version would've sounded like. 1 1

His demo version is basically a different song, with the bridge only being the same as JLo's version. The song is a bop, though you can hear that it's an unfinished demo, since he ended up rejecting the song in the end. Edited Sunday at 03:33 AM by Pluto6
Xtripped Posted Sunday at 09:09 PM Posted Sunday at 09:09 PM A banger. The video was everywhere. It was impossible to go out and not hear this song
