Kingsley Renee Wright's mother, Gina Sanderson Smith, told WLWT television of Cincinnati that her daughter was "spending time with family for the holidays," quickly adding that she had no idea the pit bulls were dangerous.

"I would have not left my baby around vicious dogs. Why would I do that?" Smith told WLWT.

"When first responders arrived in Roselawn, officers were advised to turn off their body cameras," WLWT reported.

"The coroner could not let Smith see her daughter," the WLWT reporting team added,
"saying Kingsley's injuries were too graphic.

"Smith worries she may never see her girl's body and already has her final goodbye," WLWT said.

Leaving Kingsley at the home where she was fatally mauled by the three pit bulls or pit bull variants "was the last time that I got to say goodbye to my baby," Smith told WLWT. "I told her I loved her, and I would see her in a few days."

"What happened still isn't clear to Smith," WLWT said, "and she wants the full picture."

Updated WLWT digital media manager Emily Sanderson on December 30, 2024, "According to the 911 call, the father reported he woke up and found his daughter dead and there was blood everywhere. 'I don't understand what went on,' the caller said.

"The 911 dispatcher then told the caller to put any pets away, to which the caller responded, 'They're in the cage. That's why I'm like, Did any of my pets attack her or something? I would've heard it.' The dispatcher asked if the dogs were loose, to which the caller responded, 'No.'

"According to the 911 calls, the dogs were terriers."

The link has so many more pitbull attacks in 2024 alone and they're all graphic. They should either be banned or regulated. :deadbanana4:

Pitbulls are not by default violent dogs. I follow a YouTuber who's friends with a dog trainer and she said pitbulls need to be trained correctly.

No **** Sherlock. All dogs do. The difference is most other dogs don't become murderous when not properly trained.

This is the father's fault, who do you let your 3yo daughter who's visiting you sleep in the sofa surrounded by 3 dogs that have NEVER hang out with her.

So "hating on dogs" is all you get from this when a three year old girl was killed by the most violent breed of dog? :biblio:

These collages in the article are kinda nightmare inducing

Dog people who try to "puppers just need good training to not maul children " out of the obvious truth that this breed is inherently dangerous and needs regulation make me SICK.

How many people and OTHER DOGS need to be attacked before people face reality?

Pitbulls should be put down and the father should go to jail. the mother too perhaps, this needs further investigation.

I HATE this breed. I don't give a **** what anyone says. I shouldn't be afraid that a random unleashed hellhound is gonna rip out my intestines "playing" walking home or visiting. These ARE the number one offenders. **** pitbulls

Bringing attention to the dangers these animals pose and hopefully leading to a ban on ownership

Are pitbills born wicked, or do they have wickedness thrust upon them? Regardless, I rather keep my distance. RIP to the little girl

I don't understand why someone would get a pitbull in the first place when there are 573824838 other dogs to choose from :rip:

Natural selection if you let your kids near pitbulls. That's how dangerous they are.

"Natural selection" Jesus, the 3 year old who died shouldn't have to pay for her fathers mistake. If he died, then you saying "natural selection" would make more sense because he's an idiot. You shouldn't use that term on an innocent child :deadbanana2:

That's what they all say, until they are not.

The dad sounds like an idiot. How did he not hear his daughter being killed. Did he leave her on her own.
