DRAGONS (UPDATE) Based on early reads we're looking at another battle for #1 on our next SPS chart, as We The Best/Epic's DJ Khaled takes on KidinaKorner/Interscope's Imagine Dragons. It could be close, depending on the pushes from the acts' respective labels. Given Khaled's guest list of hip-hop and R&B luminaries, expect streaming to be a major factor in his total. Indeed, a gander at the top songs on Apple Music shows three Grateful songs in the Top 10. At iTunes, the Dragons have the #1 album and #2 single ("Believer"), with another track, "Thunder," gaining ground; Khaled has the #2 album and #3 and #4 singles in the download emporium. Khaled's "I'm the One" and "Wild Thoughts" are #2 and #3 at Spotify. Here's how it's looking right now: DJ Khaled (We The Best/Epic) 140-155k SPS, 40-50k album Imagine Dragons (KidinaKorner/Interscope) 130-140k, 80-90k In Hollywood news, 2017 has seen an 11% uptick in guys dressed like Spiderman outside our office, which many see as a positive sign for the economy. doonerr Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 I don't really care about Imagine Dragons, but they are being done so wrong
FanOfPop Posted June 24, 2017 Author Posted June 24, 2017 Hopefully ID can manage to somehow sell 100k pure but I doubt that. They will for sure have longevity with this album, maybe even longer than Khaled.
JBJT2786 Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) Congrats to both. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say Khaleds streams will be the highest sonce Kendricks DAMN. Edited June 24, 2017 by JBJT2786

Chemical X. Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 The fact that 40-50k people are buying Khaled's album...
Elusive Chanteuse Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Because its still disappointing in his opinion?

Émotif Fool Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 I see Imagine Dragon's numbers going down, bad word of mouth could kill their hype
Breakdown Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 I just hope the Imagine Dragons are being blocked
King_Lonnie Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 Some of yall faves need streaming but people like Beyonce, Adele, and Taylor doesn't. I wish artist like Lady Gaga, Katy and Rihanna would wait at least a month after they album drop then put it on streaming service so they can do better in sales. Dj Khaled this is a mess in pure sales and streaming seeing as tho all the big artist on this album.
Jackson Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 I think ID will grow. Their last album sold almost double that pure 2 years ago and they didn't even have a hit then
