New Year's Eve music festival revellers were left outraged after headline act American rapper Ice Spice, performed for 'less than six minutes'.
 

Fans of the 25-year-old artist were already disappointed when she arrived on stage at Brisbane's Wildlands 25 minutes behind schedule on Tuesday night.

 

As Ice Spice, whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston, had only been allocated a 30-minute slot for her performance, hundreds of revellers stuck around, determined to make the most of the remaining five minutes.

 

The international star reportedly performed two to three songs before her microphone was cut.
 

A stagehand was seen running over to the artist before the stage was quickly cleared. 
 

Ice Spice threw her fans a peace sign and was booed from the stage as she marched from the stage.
 

Revellers paid up to $242 to attend the festival held at Brisbane Showground after some travelled six hours to see the rapper perform. 

Dozens of attendees vented their anger online afterwards.
 

Organiser responded to a disappointed reveller on Instagram:
'We understand that Ice Spice's delayed arrival caused some disappointment'
'Managing a stacked festival means that we have to be extremely firm with set times.
'We had a strict curfew of 12.30am and needed to ensure that the final act went on stage on time, so everyone could enjoy the New Year's Eve countdown'.

Ice Spice was similarly late for her set at the Beyond the Valley festival in Victoria last Saturday. Organisers were forced to quickly rearrange the schedule so she could perform.
