Pavement Princess Posted Wednesday at 01:59 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:59 AM I think it's crazy we haven't learned from early tabloid media that publicly speculating on people's body is just not it. 3
Cardcaptor Sakura Posted Wednesday at 02:09 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:09 AM She's so eloquent with her words. Happy new year My Queen 1
Mupps Posted Wednesday at 02:15 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:15 AM (edited) I think impressionable young people do deserve an explanation why celebrities look the way they do but w/e It's kinda gross to see celebrities like Christina with such a public platform playing the victim when they are so actively contributing to the body dysmorphia in society and the explosive growth of plastic surgery. If you're not gonna be open about fine but at least don't tell those young people that they don't deserve to know?? idk whether she's extremely out of touch, wilfully turning a blind eye or just…dumb as hell? But this statement is wild Edited Wednesday at 02:16 AM by Mupps 11 10

But this statement is wild When she was overweight, because she was dealing with a divorce, flopping and depression during the early 2010s, people made fun of her all the time including the viral tweet "Christina came in mad as hell.. career in shambles" now that's funny to certain people here but Xtina was still going through it. And she said the same thing during that time: she doesn't need to explain anything. No matter her size, criticism, etc - Xtina has always stood on her own 1
imabadkid Posted Wednesday at 02:24 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:24 AM What I love about Xtina, she doesn't give a f*ck... truly. She's been that way since Stripped, she let's people talk their sh*t and she stays about the fray. 7

Just because that statement was good in another context doesn't make it a good one here. 1 2

BrattyBottom Posted Wednesday at 02:44 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:44 AM Nah, these celebrities do owe us an explanation as to why they look so crazy. IDGAF about "body shaming" wah wah wah..whatever else...TELL US WHY YOU LOOK SO WEIRD 3

Erreur2 La Nature Posted Wednesday at 09:43 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:43 AM Starting off 2025 with a meltdown is a choice… She's a public person and should not be surprised that some people are commenting on her body especially because of the effect Ozempic has had on her. Also I am sure the majority of the comments are positive so I don't get why she is playing the victim here. People will continue to mind their business (b!tch) as they have for the last two decades ! 1 9
ChooseyLover Posted Wednesday at 09:45 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:45 AM Am I delusional for thinking she's coming up with an album this year cause she added people requesting it in her video? Or will she put a 6 year wait on us? 1

If you paid attention you should know every time she has appeared under the public eye it's been all about her appearance for people. It's all about how good she looks but to me it's just as annoying as if it was the opposite. People are so superficial and objectifying with female pop stars, they can't shut up and instead stick to focus on her work and her as an artist. It's good to see that although she's been aware of it, she hasn't worked on herself to please anybody but herself. Even if they do, nobody is invited to dissect her physical appearance, PERIOD!
