Whats messy is teasing a song then releasing another then teasing another before releasing another etc . Also i hate when the teasing is more than 2 weeks before the release but thats just my personal taste 

The vast majority of people even seeing those teasers are her own fans who are going to check out what she releases regardless. She's just teasing and giving easter eggs about songs she has coming out in the future, it's not "messy". The era has actually gone super smooth so far

Like it just seems like they're just throwing things out there to see what sticks so it makes it look like that their is a lack of focus but they market it under the guise of well we're feeding the fans. Cause why about half the album gonna be out before it's even officially announced and that's if we even get it

What's the point of announcing an album if we've already heard most of it? This promo single strategy bs is so dumb

and ftr, I'm trying to be on her side because these songs have been good so far, but the rollout is embarrassing. None of the songs released so far have had any substantial impact, so just release the album and let the work speak for itself.


Unless only a small portion of the record is good (what we heard) and the rest is straight-up filler—which hopefully isn't the case

For all we know the album might have 15 tracks which means we have 10 unheard songs when the album is released.

uhmm isn't she essentially a "new" artist with the core of her (rather small) following being past Little Mix fans?

she needs to drop some (more) music before dropping an album (if there's no proper hit already) bcuz what's the point in releasing an album fast when it's only gonna be acknowledged by Little Mix stans and PopCrave. 

"World building" is so important nowadays and that's exactly what she's doing with this strategy

the verse/pre-chorus has been replaying on my mind on repeat and the melody from "Baby back off from my face right now don't you tell me to calm down" part sung high is so melancholic and beautiful

Y'all do too much sometimes… If she had  released an album already the era would have no more singles… They're giving us a full era and everything will pay off when we look back at 4-5 music videos and its moments. She's a new artist. The album will be announced soon. Enjoy the material and stop worrying and micromanaging. There'll be around 10 new songs to listen when the album is out, which is the average length of pop albums nowadays anyway.

I miss the good old days when the girls would drop their first single/video then just give us the album shortly thereafter.  These multi-year lead-ups to an album just kill any and all momentum and often interest from the GP.
