He had a successful career before his 2011 Christmas album. His cover of the song Sway is famous/iconic, but his Christmas music kind of made his past music forgotten.

People who didn't know him before the Christmas album, you are SO lucky. His song Everything used come on VH1 and it was a corny, boring mess, but then he unleashed Havent Met You Yet on the world in 2009… that abhorrent rot was so overplayed
