That's because last year was on both broadcast and cable tv (combined). You don't have to subscribe to watch those. This is the most streamed NFL game ever. You have to compare it to numbers done on other streaming services. For instance, the biggest after this is Amazon prime which did 17 million

Last years Christmas regular season game aired on CBS - a TV channel which it's always historically been aired on. Yesterday's is the first time in history it's been aired on a paid subscription service (Netflix), with 27m viewers - and the viewership peaked with Beyoncé Bowl.

 

 

I promise you this is not the failure you desperately want to spin it into.

Plus, it literally says that halftime was the PEAK of the show so not sure what you're trying to drag here.

She can fall out of ALL Spotify's list and CC can get zero streams tomorrow and that performance will still be exceptional, Beyoncé will still be the greatest Pop star of the 21 Century.
