charts discussion Taylor Swift (ME!)'s "Christmas Tree Farm" stalls after label push; what happened?

Christmas Tree Farm was supposed to be a big hit this year. As shown here by user @TayDuaStan it was officially promoted as a single by republic complete with radio push and a new single cover

 

 

yet even with the official push, it hardly scraped an extra 300K streams together versus last year. 

 

 

I'm actually a fan of the song and shocked at how little it grew this year in peak Taylor mania. Did the swifties not vote with their wallets? What happened? 
 

Why did Santa tell me out stream nearly 4x over?

the GP wants sounds of the season TV with CTF as the lead and it didn't happen so they turned their back on ha. maybe she'll get with the program next year!

 

Idk why this isn't a smash. definitely became one of my favorite holiday songs within the first couple listens

The continued threads…it seems that the last weeks with eras tour gross, spototufy wrapped, Apple music revealing data and BB year end with Taylor and TTPD being #1 in everything has damage your little brains too much.

It baffles me that the Jonas Brothers currently have a more successful modern Xmas song than Taylor

 

But to be fair, Santa Tell Me didn't re-enter the charts until 2020. Christmas Tree Farm will get its flowers eventually.

So all three are kinda smashing? These numbers are decent for songs that are not Christmas classics.
