Cesar Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Quote A female passenger died after being set on fire by a man on a New York City subway train Sunday morning, according to police. Around 7:30 a.m., a man, who police believe is about 25 to 30 years old, approached the sleeping victim on a stationary F train car and intentionally set her on fire before fleeing the scene, NYPD Det. Austin Glickman told CNN. Police officers conducting a routine patrol at the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue subway station in Brooklyn encountered the victim on fire inside a subway car, Glickman said. Officials extinguished the fire, and EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the female dead, according to the detective. No other passengers or first responders were injured in the incident, police said. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on Wednesday announced efforts to bolster subway safety ahead of the holidays, deploying an additional 250 National Guard members to New York City and ensuring every subway car is outfitted with security cameras. Hochul's office says crime is down 10% since the governor announced a subway safety plan in May and 42% since January 2021, though a number of high-profile violent incidentsin the subway system in recent years have left some residents uneasy. https://www.cnn.com/2024/12/22/us/nyc-subway-fire-woman-death/index.html Spoiler
Popular Post Aston Martin Posted 10 hours ago Popular Post Posted 10 hours ago What the actual **** is wrong with people? Lock him up and condolences to that woman and her loved ones. Also they better use just as much resources to find this man as they did Luigi seeing as she's actually an innocent victim who did nothing wrong. 17 7
Popular Post Uncatena Posted 10 hours ago Popular Post Posted 10 hours ago I simply cannot, in my wildest dreams, imagine watching that and doing nothing. That pig being useless as always and just walking by... We live in a unfixably broken world. Empathy, decency and respect are dead in the water and not coming back. RIP to that woman. I know that there is an extremely fine line between my life and hers. 18
Almodusa Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Just saw omg. The fact he's just sitting there watching her burn is so evil - and the cop that just walks by doing nothing… Apparently they just caught him. 2
Capris Groove Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) I expect the full resources of the NYPD to be deployed and for the mayor of New York to show up to the perp walk. Edited 10 hours ago by Capris Groove 9 1
SupremeGoddess Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Absolutely vile and revolting. What an insanely dark and horrific world to be living in. Really there is absolutely no compassion or empathy in a world that is supposedly so connected and intertwined. I hope there is a better place out there and she is resting in peace. To that man who sat her on fire and all who watched and didn't bother to care: rot in hell 2
pimmelfratze Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Why doesn't the Woman seem to be reacting to the Fire?
americanlife Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago My gosh. The city is out of control. RIP to that poor woman. She was probably homeless and no one deserves this. 1
wish Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago That video is absolutely terrifying... not a single person cared about that woman dying in front of them. Genuinely frustrating and saddening. I used to dream of moving to NYC, but I've completely lost that desire in recent years 3
Ricardo1993 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago That is insane. RIP to the poor woman. It's horrifying that the cop did nothing to assist. What a useless piece of **** and I hope the killer gets his karma soon. They better torture him in prison.

l3disko Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Apparently the man was an illegal immigrant so be prepared for this situation to be milked for months/years to come.

ElectricStyle Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago disgusting… all those people who watched and did nothing…
SlowGinFizzzz Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Just horrible. I cannot for the life of me comprehend how anyone could ever do something like that to another human being. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this happened, just earlier this year there was a similar case in Austria: Homeless man set on fire in Graz: Perpetrator on the run Insane what humans are capable of doing.
Domination Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago It's interesting that this is happening so close to the Daniel Penny/Jordan Nealy thing. I expect public safety to become a significant priority in the next couple years for the general public.
Delirious Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago the video was absolutely horrifying to watch. the people just watching what the f

What's the incentive of reporting a crime when the perpetrator will just be released regardless? The subway has been out of control for years. But yeah murder is not as bad as the 80s/early 90s. Hope that woman's family finds peace. 2
Witnessed ET Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Why is NYC becoming such a hellscape… actually the whole of America RIP to that woman.
