Kiss It Better Posted December 23, 2024 Author Posted December 23, 2024 1. Beyoncé MY ARTIST OF THE YEAR!! Her 3rd year in a row being on my AOTY list and her first time being #1!! With a brand new album and Renaissance still hitting to this day and her upcoming halftime show performance this week, she really made my 2024… also year #3 asking for the visuals and where is the RWT Film on streaming anyway? 2. Tinashe MY QUEEN!!!! First of all I can't believe after a decade she finally got herself another hot 100 charting hit!! And it's with Nasty that is my [bleeeeeep] and she interacted with me again several times on twitter and ig this year too… love her so much!! 3. Katy Perry Hate her all you want but she's still my queen mother!! I wish her mainstream comeback actually happened this year after all that hype pre-Woman's World, but at least for me she IS back and she's serving a lot this year with the music, videos, performances, looks, etc. 4. Billie Eilish This is lowkey her year tbh, reminds me of her 2019 era where she was everywhere… she served this year, an Oscar win, outstanding 3rd album, great tour, and this grammy campaign she's been doing in the last couple weeks has been amazing and fulfilling to see as a fan. 5. Channel Tres At last!! He finally dropped his debut album and he made my summer this year. 6. Mac Ayres No new music this year beside 2 features collabs BUT he finally dropped his soundcloud songs as a compilation album on streaming!!! That is the best music he's ever made, and that's enough to get him on my artists of the year list… truly (spoiler alert) my Artist of the Decade. 7. Lucky Daye He also made my summer with the new album. 8. Kaytranada Producer of the year if I made such category, an outstanding new album and produced some of the best music of this year, as always, truly my favorite DJ/producer. 9. Big Sean MY KING!!! He dropped some of the best visuals of the year and (spoiler alert) the best rap album of the year, though somehow every time he dropped this year he always got overshadowed by something else (like Kendrick's Like That dropped same day as Precision, the album's lead single) but he wouldn't get overshadowed in my heart 10. Ariana Grande Last but not least, Ariana has had a great year this year, dropped a beautiful new album, great music videos, and Wicked (I still haven't watched it but tbf I don't think I watched any movies this year Spoiler fun fact: i think this is the most male artists have ever appeard on my Artists of the Year list with 5/10

Tinashe blew up this year too, and I'm so proud of that thinking back to her '2 On' days. (#JusticeForAllHandsOnDeck). Billie had a phenomenal year too. Katyranda isn't really my favourite genre of music, but he's delicious.. and so is Big Sean so I will never skip a track of theirs. Ariana was also absolutely HUGE as well.
