Why make a thread about twitter instead of the celebrities zzzzz

Last week they were mad because the Russian twink said he was naked in his audition tape. Next week they'll be mad at something else.

I agree with the point about the intimacy coordinator being available for everyone including the crew. But like "hate" is not going to solve any issue.

A place more miserable than ATRL and it's not even close :soda:

It is odd and not good practice to entertain letting the actor 'choose' since there's no way to make sure the actor doesn't feel pressured to opt-out of having one.

But this is on the director for making a mistake, not Mikey herself.

Hmm. Having the coordinator also means having more people on set, sharing more information with a other stranger...

These intimacy coordinator discourses are so annoying to me

People who say that IC is a "fake job that prevents memorable sex scenes" are the same ones who (pretend to be) shocked that actors got assaulted on movie sets like this for example:

Hell, there is literally an article about Brian Jordan Alvarez assaulted his former co-star while being recorded, and they still think that IC shouldn't be an essential job on a film set

Anyway … is the movie good?

no one cares what twitter has to say her performance was raw authentic and one of the best of the year. She consented to this and chose not to have one random twitter people have no relevance

It's great, Oscar front runner for a reason. Sean does an amazing job showcasing the lives of sex workers in many of his projects.

We're really only hearing from the two lead actors, the director and the producer...but they can't speak for how every extra felt on the film..

Is there an extra orgy in this movie or something otherwise why would the feelings of some random extras not in any sex scenes matter? :deadbanana:

If Mikey didn't want one that's her choice, as it should be for any actor.

Intimacy coordinators should be on set because some actors or even directors can push boundaries and take advantage. But if an actor doesn't want them to actually get in there and choreograph the scene and wants to be more spontaneous for a better performance, that's their right too.

Posted

that was her choice. films are always made differently and an intimacy coordinator is not a blanket solution.

people were really acting like Mikey was disrespectful towards Pamela for saying what she said, Twitter is always mad about something :rip:
