The reality is that everyone acknowledges a smear campaign against Blake happened. In the end, best of luck to Baldoni and his publicist in court, they're going to need all the help they can get. :gaycat5:

Is it true that she changed her claims from SA to emotional distress?

Still feels like she's doing all this because her Oscar campaign collapsed.

Well she's certainly not getting a redemption story after altering the text messages in her suit to try to claim more #MeToo plaudits than she earned.

If she stuck with the facts instead of shamelessly trying out what @StayFrosty just listed she'd have a chance at a redemption arc. Now producers are going to avoid her like the plague unless Ryan brow beats them with his extra cash.

Baldoni's aggro-turfing destroyed her hair care line but I have zero sympathy for her for lying in this lawsuit and treating a PR tour on domestic violence as a QVC infomercial and her BS apology on the wedding.

Baldoni will have to leave Hollywood and no one's disputing that so he's trying to cash out. Fine.

But regardless of the outcome of both suits she's now rightfully seen as too toxic by the critics to restart her career on that path.

Any other lifestyle brand she tries is DOA so she'll live off Ryan's money.

The problem is Ryan's now been brought into this and is in deep, not to mention his picket-crossing during the strikes being unearthed which has gotten him a lot more enemies so he now has a lot more to lose.

Ryan, Justin, Blake, and Steph Jones' careers aren't fueled by critical praise at this point, they're fueled by good PR, a good chunk of which is now gone permanently. So I see a lot of this as clawing desperately to reclaim some of it from all parties involved.

I've been consistent in saying they're all horrible and feel vindicated at this point regardless of the outcome.

I feel like this is why it's important to wait for everything to come out. This has taken so many turns over the last two months. :deadbanana:

Doesn't WME represent Ryan? He 100% did

I don't believe he's guilty. I do believe Blake is an egotistical basic blonde with no USP and that she can easily be switched out with the non problematic Margot Robbie on any Hollywood casting director's shortlist of 'talent'.

Why is Ryan involved? He really should've kept out of it.

Do you doubt the harassment or smear campaign took place? Or both? These text messages have not been denied by anyone:

This ***** is really going to set back whatever work the Me Too movement set in place with her cherry picked allegations and complaints.

I hope he wins the case against the NYT then goes after the talent agency for unfairly dropping him (they just released a statement after Justin sued NYT). Then he'll have an easy way to get Blake and her husband alone.

Plus if it's true that Steve Sarowitz doesn't like her, he'll easily fund Justin's cases. Basically how the guy who funded Hulk Hogans case against Gawker and bankrupted them.

I know his name is not Jennifer Abel or Melissa Nathan (the two people in that text exchange).

There is another known text message exchange actually involving Justin (unlike the above) - that has not yet made it in to the media, where he clarifies he has no interest in any pursuit of Blake.

It is apparent by your intentional mis-representation of Justin - as being a part of a text conversation he was in fact excluded from - that you are playing an active part in conducting a smear campaign against him.

Abel tells Nathan that Baldoni "want to feel like Lively can be buried". 15 is a text message from Baldoni to Abel with the message "This is what we would need."

I don't think ATRL is an appropriate place for professionals who are a part of Blake Lively's PR/ legal team to actively be attempting to rehabilitate her image and direct public perception of her.

This argument doesn't hold up and relies on assumptions. The conversation in question is between Baldoni and Abel, and Lively's lawyer is aware that Baldoni still has access to it. If the conversation had been heavily edited or used out of context, Baldoni could easily counter this claim, which he notably hasn't done.

The smear campaign is probably the weakest piece of BL complaint lol

Expand

It's understandable why not all text messages were included in the complaint, it's already 70 pages long.

I just rely on logical thinking, something more people should try.

You really don't though. You always have a weighted bias towards Lively and that's not of any real substance to those of us who simply want to get to the truth.

That's simply not true. You can check my entire post history. I go directly to the source instead of relying on content makers from platforms like X, Instagram, or TikTok. I don't need others to shape my opinions. I form my own opinions and avoid the biases that come with secondhand interpretations. I encourage everyone to do the same: go directly to the source, think for yourself, and embrace logical thinking.

See, you can't dispute what she says because you know it's wholly factual.
