Seriously, just read the NYT article AND the details of the lawsuit and make up your own damn mind. To call all these damming details as "PR tactic" or "afterthought of a bad press tour" is just so shallow. The investigative journalist for the NYT article also worked on the historic initial sexual abuses reporting against Harvey Weinstein, not some TMZ PR-hired goon for a hit piece. Is she a "swiftie" to you too? Edited yesterday at 01:43 AM by Rep2000 22

Richie Posted yesterday at 01:48 AM Posted yesterday at 01:48 AM After reading everything .. both of them are trash. If true he is sick weirdo… but then again, why did she stick around if she was subjected to such circumstances? Her husband was on-set with her.. Blake is no newbie and she is an empowered woman, she could've pulled the necessary strings to remove herself from that situation and call him out right away. Something isn't quite adding up.. he is a sick weirdo and she seems to be seeking vendetta from the press tour fiasco. 2 1 19
Popular Post Rep2000 Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM (edited) Like, this lawsuit is actually explosive and involved multiple parties, not just some Justin vs Blake stan war hitpiece. Quote "To make matters worse, when Ms. Lively tried to have a meeting with Mr. Heath and the other producers to discuss Mr. Baldoni's unprofessional behavior described above, that meeting turned into yet another violation. Rather than an ordinary meeting time and place, Mr. Heath arrived unannounced at Ms. Lively's hair and makeup trailer while she was topless and having body makeup removed by makeup artists. Ms. Lively told Mr. Heath that she was almost done and they could meet once she was clothed. Mr. Heath, however, insisted that if she didn't allow him into her trailer to speak to him at that moment, then there would be no meeting with the other producers. Ms. Lively reluctantly agreed, but asked that Mr. Heath keep his back turned. A few minutes into the conversation, Ms. Lively noticed that Mr. Heath was staring directly at her while she was topless. When she called him out, Mr. Heath brushed it off as a habit of wanting to look at a person while speaking to them. Ms. Lively and her hair and makeup artists were all deeply disturbed by this interaction on just the second day of filming. It's extremely alarming how some people can just brush the details of this whole lawsuit off and dismiss it entirely as "PR", I- Edit: This "Mr. Heath" is Jamey Heath, a co-host on a literal "positivity masculinity" podcast called We Are Man Enough , and he's also the CEO of Justin's studio . The fish was rotten from the head. Edited yesterday at 02:19 AM by Rep2000 20

This is exactly why people don't come forward. It's not even up for debate. People freeze, people get scared, when people are put in a vulnerable place, they break. There's no manual on how to deal with harassment, no one expects it. We're not born to deal with it so we have no idea how to behave, it's humiliating, it's sad, it's sick, and that's a stupid comment. 17 15 1
elevate Posted yesterday at 02:26 AM Posted yesterday at 02:26 AM I didn't follow the initial scandal that closely because it felt like a repeat of people randomly turning on Anne Hathaway because she was suddenly unlikeable, but what I find really interesting about this is the reaction on Reddit / Twitter right now is still - mostly women - defending their initial viewpoints even when faced with damning evidence. Gays can cause unnecessary stan twitter drama between popstars, but I've never seen a case like this or Depp/Heard perpetrated by gays. It's always women siding with absolutely horrible men who make it into a huge spectacle. Internalised misogyny is still so rampant and men are REALLY GOOD at exploiting it. I don't know what the solution is but it's upsetting because my girl friends are all loud and annoying and say stupid **** (like me) but they're all kind and wonderful and if they were filmed it would be really easy to take things out of context. The same seems to be true for female celebs. 10

Sth's not clicking. Because she started her campaign first but back then it was only super vague and nothing serious The biggest accusation back then was that he made her uncomfortable (nothing specific) and that he asked about her weight cause he needed to lift her up in a scene.

DanyelP23 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago It's kinda over for Baldoni. It's understandable why Blake waited for the movie to have its run and promotion before doing this. WME dropping him doesn't surprise me given that from what I heard B. Lively is represented by them as well. Perched for whatever happens next, and also curious if that journalist lady dropping that video of the interview where Blake was being nasty was in contact with Baldoni's team.

His only chance at still being someone in the industry is if a bunch of straight men and thirsty women come to his rescue a la Johnny Depp. He's going to be a Hallmark Channel actor, if he's lucky. Or maybe that GAC Family one which is even more D-List. Edited 23 hours ago by JustHoran
JustHoran Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago The entire cast had Blake's back and didn't want to do interviews with him, and some of you people still blame HER? It was very obvious how out of nowhere people started to hate on her and tear her apart with every single thing. I'm glad she's exposed him now. Good luck to his career, I think it's over for him as an actor. Hallmark's his future IMO or he'll just direct behind the scenes. 4 2

And "people" acted like Blake already trying to ruin his career or bullying on a lone actor just because they are the rich and famous Ryan Reynold and Blake Lively . Only for people to dig in more on Justin's background and find out how rich his father is (billionaire). He is part of an insular, protective Bahá'í faith religious group, along with his fellow billionaire backer Steve Sarowitz - the one who's also guilty of gross behaviors on set . Which explains why Justin can hire such expensive PR firm even before any serious allegation drops, or how intense the hate campaign for Blake was. It was not as obvious as the Sophie Turner vs Joe Jonas campaign, but the intensity of the astroturf was there. In hindsight, the biggest red flag was when the whole cast unfollowed him, or even avoided him or not to mention him at all during press tour. "People" were saying that it's because Blake managed to 'mean girl' them all against him, and that they chose Blake over Justin just because Blake (and Ryan) are powerful in Hollywood (lol!). Like, that should have been the biggest red flag! It was giving "Angelina poisons all her children against Brad Pitt, so that's why the adult children refuse to hang out with Pitt" type of spin. 6

Since the beginning, the cast had distanced themselves from Baldoni - and were always with Lively. YET ALL THE DISCOURSE WAS BALDONI WAS AN 'ANGEL'. How did this not raise red flags? 6

Minto Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) The way the majority of the general public were on his side when the dust settled with the film because his initial smear campaign worked and now he did this and flipped the entire perception on him…men like this always reveal themselves because they truly think they're unstoppable Edited 23 hours ago by Minto

Now I'm laughing at all them retracting their previous statements and trying to 'justify' their statements and trying to say "both sides were bad". 7 1

You can't say this out loud or in mixed company, but the truth is that real gender equality will always be held back by straight women (in conjunction with straight men). I don't think you can even call it internalized misogyny. In my experience, many straight women are some of the fiercest upholders of gender stereotypes, gendered power dynamics, gender roles, etc. even when they claim to be feminist, woke, liberal, whatever you want to call it. So many of them will jump to "feminism for me, not for thee" as soon as it's someone they've decided they don't like or who isn't worthy. You can think Blake is "annoying" or whatever, sure, but all the details coming out about this are downright disgusting, and anyone who is saying "they both suck!!" sounds like an idiot. I loved Jane the Virgin, so I used to follow Justin on socials years ago, but quickly stopped once his podcast launched. I realized how creepy he is just from some of the clips on his IG feed. Any straight man who needs to heavily emphasize that he's a "good man" is likely not a "good man," lbr. 2

It still doesn't justify the harsh crucifying and I'm glad Justin is being held accountable
Popular Post Vespertine Posted 22 hours ago Popular Post Posted 22 hours ago This should also be a lesson to everyone about how easy is to manipulate social media (whether it's in politics or entertainment) to make topics and discussions seem like they have "organically" started trending. It's crazy how easily everyone decided to jump on "Blake Lively is the worst person ever!!" within like, 24 or 48 hours after seeing some TikToks. And I still don't get how everyone jumped on board the "she shouldn't be acting happy or lighthearted or promote her haircare line!!" train Since when do we require actors to match the subject matter of every movie they promote? They act in the movie and then go back to their real personalities. Gaga went on the campiest promo tour ever for a movie where her partner is an alcoholic and eventually kills himself, and we all agreed it was iconic. In light of all the revelations today, it's actually pretty understandable that Blake wanted to talk about everything but the movie and her experience making it... 19
