Faith doesnt equal religion, thats why there are different terms for it. Religion is just BAD for every party involved - doesnt matter if its christianity or Islam or whatsnot. The only religion that seems to be peaceful is Buddhism..maybe we should all convert to that Guess who ethnic cleansing Rohingyas in Myanmar? Buddhist 3
808dream Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago It's horrible. I fear Israeli/middle east awful mess is somehow fueling extremists acts like these.
Communion Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago "Atheist-Zionist Saudi AfD supporter commits act of terrorism and mass political violence" oh my god 1
Heldenzeit Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Absolutely horrible. The upcoming elections will be disastrous and I don't think I can take it.

Took you all that time to finally let it all out. See what he did because of religion? So my point still stands - news flash - religion is **** and you will deal 3

Nobody who is suicidal drives through a mass crowd of people to unalive himself. He is a murderer. A terrorist. OT: Rip to the victims. Europe is truly at risk. I travel there at least 3-4 times a year. Maybe i should reconsider certain locations as those terror attacks are frighteningly recurring 1

There many Muslims who live in Europe, who lead good lives and have jobs, families and live normally. None of them deserve to be called out for being a Muslim because of this. VERY true. 1 2

genio Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Those are very terrible news. Rest in peace to all the victims. While his motive for the attack is still unclear, he is definitely a disgusting murderer and terrorist. It's a highly frustrating situation overall and ironically, this will probably boost the far right votes and expand the ongoing Islamophobia in this country. There definitely needs to be higher safety measures in this country, because the ones we have are not enough, as it is shown by this tragic event. Christmas markets usually have become a safe(r) space for people to walk in and have a stroll, after the Berlin attack in 2016, it felt like security everywhere was so high that things like this would never occur again (and without taking anything away from those that are making it a safer space, even despite this event today, the security measures are usually very high and there's police everywhere). I think building Christmas markets should be done somewhere where cars won't have ANY access nearby (like somewhere in the middle of a pedestrian zone).
Hot Volcano Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago Xmas market is one of my favorite things. Was there just last night with my nephews and nieces. Since there were 5 of them I was so stressful the entire time not to lose one. I can only imagine the fear these people had 😭
Both Sides Now Posted 4 minutes ago Posted 4 minutes ago I suppose his motive is still being established but I do wonder if all the "well, well, well" commenters will be rescinding their analysis now that it's looking like this is a far right terrorist attack. The German authorities have a lot to answer for if this man was known as a potential terrorist. This is highest tragedy regardless of the motive for this sick ****.
