My friend lived around the corner where it happened and I was taking a shortcut through that market an hour before a truck raced though it. It felt like a delayed Final Destination sequence

I read that the Saudi man has been living in Germany since 2006 and working in a hospital as a doctor, and never had any problems with the law or pose any threats to security or seen as an extremist. I wonder wtf happened. Religion happened 11 5
Delirious Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago This is absolutely horrific. Germany needs stricter police so things like this don't happen again 1 1
Delirious Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Also they need to reveal the identity of the killer ffs

There many Muslims who live in Europe, who lead good lives and have jobs, families and live normally. None of them deserve to be called out for being a Muslim because of this. 7 14

To be fair that user didn't blame each of these people. They just stated that the motivation behind these terrorists attacks in Europe is religion in some form. And historically that's correct. 24 1

SlowGinFizzzz Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) An absolute nightmare, just awful. I will never be able to comprehend how anyone could have this kind of hatred within themselves. RIP to the victims. I feel so sorry for the families who lost a loved one because of this așshole, especially right before Christmas. It's just not fair. Edited 12 hours ago by SlowGinFizzzz

But to say religion is the motivation IS basically saying that anyone who follows that religion has some sort of motivation to do the same, which is absolutely a horrific thing to say. 1 1
Domination Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago RIP to the victims, this is actually terrifying. Literally do not understand how anyone in Europe feels safe, y'all have these kinds of occurrences like twice a year at this point. I know Euros love to dog on Americans for school shootings but it's much easier to wrap one's mind around the idea of a troubled student looking to enact revenge on their classmates over going to a Christmas market with your family and randomly witnessing 70 people get plowed by a car. 7

Why attack a "Christmas" market? Isn't this the 2nd time in Germany.
