This is by far my favorite snippet that she's played. Doesn't sound like a Greedy sized smash but it sounds way catchier than the others

Sounds like it would be an album track on Justin's Justice. Excited!

Why can't her team seem to get it together and properly roll out singles? They got really lucky with Greedy but that's not gonna keep happening if they just keep throwing **** at the wall without a sensible strategy

Just another basic uninspired filler from Tate McRae,

"She's the generic queen, ask miss Ellen"

Can someone please give this girl some personality and charisma. She represents nothing and is less interesting than Alexa and Siri

This is the weakest so far for me… It's Ok, I'm Ok remains the catchiest thing from this project by a country mile.

Tate definitely has more flavour/punch to her than someone like say… Ava… arguably even Dua. (and before anyone throws tomatoes at me, I love our girl Dua but you gotta admit she's a little devoid of personality).

The issue is, she's following the Britney blueprint - gorgeous, confident, hair-flipping sex kitten with killer dance skills… there's issue is, Tate is no Britney.

She's following a formula which has been tried and tested many times over but nobodies ever quite done it like Brit.

I think she's still finding her "thing"… but she's much closer now compared to 2022 when she was putting out her debut project.

I really don't get why are they pushing and trying to make her a thing. Her label should just drop her and try to find someone who actually has potential. Tate will never make it because she doesn't have the it factor. I'm not a big Gracie Abrams fan but even she has more to offer and she's actually found her audience.

I think the issue is that she's mostly working with Ryan Tedder and trying to amp up his vanilla writing by adding punchy production. It worked on greedy/exes but every other song he's done with her feels like it's missing something. She needs to work with r&b / hip hop producers to have her  Blackout / Loose / Dutchess etc.

This is so insulting to Dua and objectively not true. Dua is a WAY more interesting and exciting artist. She has a rich and unique voice. Dua is charming and charismatic, she's very chill and cool. Tate is just another avocadi-banani girl that has a terrible pronounciation. Like who is Tate and what is she known for? She's already been in the music industry for like 5 years but I still don't know anything about her. And im not interested at all. And most people feel exactly the same

Lmao. Ryan Tedder is definitely not the issue. Tate is the only one to blame for her own tankery

Tate is a star. She is the reason why most of those songs are even gaining any initial traction to begin with.

Ryan Tedder's writing is not the kind that Tate needs to be a choreo-based popstar. Looking at his discog, you see ballads (ranging from terrible to great) and cheesy radio fodder. The only other time he's recently tried to venture out of those two modes was that disastrous Unholy follow-up Sam tried to do with Madonna. He's good at what he does but what he does is not the bops Tate needs to get to the next level.

She has a sold out arena tour and 2 soon to be multi billion streamed hits, the HELL are you on about "she won't make it" :deadbanana4:

😂😂😂 You are killing me. Tate is the complete opposite of a pop star. She is exactly what AI would generate if you asked for a basic/generic popstar. She has the personality that is as interesting as watching the paint dry

I like the song, but I don't think it's single worthy... What happened to them going with Dear God as a single..? :gaycat6:

Sounds like a Camila reject

How is someone like Tate evoking that kind of hate lol. She writes, she sings, she dances, she's gorgeous, has star quality. Not all her material is perfect, but she's come a long way and she's still very young. You'd think that user was talking about Selena G or something.
