I'm not political! […] I don't know enough about politics to act like I know anything that's going on or what anybody's standing for policy-wise. I genuinely don't know

Well maybe...open a book or even a news website...

When will these stupid uncultured morons realize that being apolitical is itself a political act and pov? :rip:

It's more like he's doing it to keep the left wing consuming his music. At this point, "apolitical" country stars mostly do it so that they can get mainstream play.

We know exactly what we meant. Annoying Trump supporting industry plant.

He's like if Ricky from Trailer Park Boys went to Toronto like he said he would and started a music career

1) Some people who were afraid of blowback for being Trump supporters now see they aren't as alone as they thought they were, and they're emboldened to come out.  I live in a pretty liberal area, and since he won I've seen so many people wearing MAGA merch I'd never have seen around here before.

2) Entertainment conglomerates and other corporations are now afraid of political retribution from the Trump admin, and afraid of blowback from the public who supported his return to the White House.  Either Pixar or Disney (can't remember which) just announced they're cutting a trans storyline from an upcoming film, citing parents' concerns.

The combination of the two is a pretty clear indicator we're going to be entering a dark age in terms of culture.  You have every reason to be fearful.

I'm not from the US but the mood is a bit off especially what I noticed on the US internet.

I mean he literally looks like every Trump supporter I've ever seen and I grew up in a trailer park as a kid so trust me, I know.
