discussion Gay/LGBT shows like Pose?

I just got to finish the third and final season of Pose and I'm honestly gagged for more. I loved and connected with the characters so much and their stories and I would like any recommendations to similar shows like Pose where it shows the realism of gay life(struggles, triumphs, etc.)

I liked 'Queer as Folk' (2000-2005 version)... there's a 2022 reboot... but the OG is better imo.

OMG Keeley Hawes was so good in this as the mother finding out the truth. That scene in the hospital towards the end was jaw dropping.

You should try the series "Looking" on Max. I've watched it twice and everytime it fuels my desire to move to San Francisco. It starts with two seasons then a movie to wrap it up. Richie is a HEART THROB.

It's a Sin is the pinnacle of it, nothing has topped it ever since.

 

I would recommend Fellow Travelers (2023), period drama and Big Boys (2022-), British sitcom, very funny, very heartwarming.

I've not seen Pose apart from a few clips online, but 'Big Boys' is a pretty funny comedy. Also 'Femme' is really great film to watch - very gritty and tense.

if you liked pose you might enjoy fellow travelers as it's also a show that focuses on what recent history (1950s-1980s in this case) was like for gay ppl
