Mezik Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 Linkin Park, 21P, and Vampire Weekend. Also need to listen to that Lauren Mayberry feature. I've been obsessed with Vicious Creatures, which led me to CHVRCHES, which has led me to wanting to hear all her work. 1

There are many good songs, like Recover, The Mother We Share and Leave A Trace.

Lauren Mayberry is coming to Toronto for a solo show in January, tickets are $40 right now so I may go check her out! 1

Mezik Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 Clancy really was that album.. eh? So many phenomenal tracks on it. But as I keep saying, 21P are always consistent. I have never listened to a song by them and thought "well that was trash" or "oh that felt dull and uninspired". Two-Faced was a highlight off the new LP album for sure, so reminiscent of their old work with a splash of new-age sounding rock. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I've started listening to a few of Fontaines D.C. stuff, and I am thoroughly impressed. Had I listed to their album in full, I probably would've had it put in the top ten of my albums list. A las, next time I'll be sure to listen to it right away. 1

I've been a TOP fan since 2013, and Clancy is probably one of their best works. They have 3 more appearances on my list.

potent Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 Heaven is my favorite from this set, I also really like Downside, ICDIWABH, Chihiro, and Navigating Neon Pill was cute too 1
Mezik Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 I Can Do it With a Broken Heart?! Not gonna lie, did not see that being so high on your list - simply because I felt it was one of the lower quality songs on the album. But nice to see it get some praise! She performs the hell out of it live though, and there's the one TikTok I think from Milan where you can't even hear her because the crowd is so loud. Can't Catch Me Now, Chihiro, and Navigating are all great too. 1

ICDIWABH isn't one of the best Taylor songs, but it's still cute. What is more, the music video reminds me a lot of when I attended The Eras Tour last year. 1

I saw Taylor in Argentina (I'm from Peru). It was her first performance in South America. It was one of my favorite concerts ever. Where did you attend The Eras Tour?
