poki Posted December 22, 2024 Author Posted December 22, 2024 Test post because I can't count and don't know if this post will make it to page 2 or last of page 1
poki Posted December 22, 2024 Author Posted December 22, 2024 Cool that worked. Okay my last update is here #5 - Lady Gaga - Close To You I like this album, especially how cheerful it is. Eh Eh is my favorite Lady Gaga track and it happens to be one of her happier ones so this album was a sweet surprise for me. This track is gorgeous to me, very faithful cover. Hope this will be featured in a future tour. I manifested Clive in Tekken 8, Sonic 3's success, a new Lady Gaga Christmas track, so now I will continue to spam my request for a Lady Gaga Disney album. #4 - Natasha Amadeus Bedingfield – Unwritten Natasha is my "breakthrough" artist of 2024. Got into her after I heard Soulmate and These Words in my supermarket, Home Depot, and mechanic's garage. She has a lot of tracks I instantly liked. I think N.B. is my favorite Natasha album to listen to from start to finish. My CD has both hidden tracks so that makes it a 17 track album. Fun fact: The CD art was reused for Love Like This but rather than a white color, LLT has a pastel lime color to it that. #LAZY. What I also like about N.B. is that my edition has a variant of Unwritten on it. On a casual listen it's literally the exact same as the 2004 version BUT!!11 if you play this and the 2004 version back to back, you will instantly notice the N.B. version sounds more clean. At least to me it does. I played Strip Me Away album on repeat when I was obsessed with Need for Speed Payback back in June. #3 - Ramona Vandella - Tomorrow This track instantly takes me down from a 10 to a 1 on the anxiety scale. Helped me a lot this year. This is the only actual ballad on the album from a technical point apparently because I'm With You has more beats-per-second than Sk8er Boi. #2 - Sabrina Ritchie Carpenter - That's That's Me Espresso Really fun track (and album!). Surprised me how I instantly liked the album. Was obsessed with it in September while I played Ratchet & Clank Size Matters for two weeks straight. Wanted to make Sabrina and Madonna themed memes with cutscenes from the game. Maybe I will. #1 - Matchbox Twenty - Real World This track was my #1 on Spotify this year. Lyrics hit me extremely close when it comes to my ventures as a Pokemon host this year, haha. Like, really hit me on a spiritual level. Essentially what motivated me to host Sword & Shield and All-Stars. If I was someone else, would this all fall apart? This is my favorite line in the track. At first I looked at myself and said "If it was someone else rather than me, things would go better." And I think that indeed is the case for my rate-that-shall-not-be-named from March. But nowadays I try to look at this line from the point of view of "If it was someone else rather than me, would they make it through like I did?" when it comes to how this year went by for me. Sorry if this update ended up a bit dark, let's finish this post with my favorite Youtubers of this year to brighten up a bit Top Youtubers of 2024 #5 - Juno Birch Hasn't been as active this year due to various career ventures but still incredibly hilarious. The restaurant fire makes me laugh so hard my stomach hurts. #4 - FoxMaster Though AI Lara Croft's gameplay is sus (Fox Master himself alluded towards this), the AI voice over is definitely hilarious and inspires me to try and do this for other games. I think Ratchet would be good for this. #3 - R. R. Slugger His. VOICE. I can listen to him for hours. #2 - Hugo One Absolutely hilarious. Chaos Mod and Rainbowmizer should be protected at all cost. #1 - Silent Hill 4's #1 Stan Bawkbasoup I love his Silent Hill / Resident Evil videos that he made this October. Kept me busy for the last few months. Recently found out he likes Ezreal too! Music links & Youtube example videos: Spoiler 1
poki Posted December 22, 2024 Author Posted December 22, 2024 NO I posted it too early I didn't add all the visuals in Okay should be good now.
poki Posted December 22, 2024 Author Posted December 22, 2024 I sorta wanna rank my favorite Natasha tracks of the year, or at least what Spotify claims were my top played.
Album Leak Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 (edited) YES HARLEQUIN REPRESENTATION! And I'm completely on board with a Gaga Disney album, it would demolish! I used to be obsessed with Natasha Bedingfield when I was a child, so I have tons of nostalgia for her. To this day I Bruise Easily is one of the best pop songs ever made, and I stand by that. It is so beautiful and timeless. Frogs And Princes is a hidden gem as well, I also think Wild Horses is a really beautiful ballad! Edited December 22, 2024 by Album Leak 1
K$Ellie Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Bodyguard is the best song on CC also loved the Wicked OST but I'd have The Wizard & I, I'm Not That Girl or What Is This Feeling? on my list over DTL 1
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 Don't Tell Me, Crash and Burn, Unwritten are 2000s hit songs that would never leave my playlist Wrong Impression acclaimed! I also discovered this bop in 2020 too because of a fan channel that "remastered" the MV, and I quickly became obsessed with it. It should've been a worldwide hit. 1
Mr. Loco Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 Espresso Unwritten is such a great throwback! I listened to it a lot this year too 1
