Last night, several users on r/brandnew began sharing rumors about a secret Brand New show happening in Nashville tonight, with no photos or videos allowed. What initially seemed like baseless rumors was nearly confirmed when the sound engineer from All Time Low posted a photo on his Instagram story, showing evidence of the rumored gig. Details in the photo that seemed authentic included Jesse's band equipment, the lights from the Science Fiction tour, a 'no photos or video' sign on stage, and a post from Brand New's photographer, who shared that he was in Nashville (where Jesse Lacey lives) on his own IG story.

 

With the recent release of their holiday EP on streaming platforms and a vinyl reissue of The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me, there's a lot of speculation and excitement in the air. I'm hopeful that this show marks the beginning of new music and not just a one-off performance!

He was accused of grooming a minor through Skype but it was revealed the accuser lied, given that she claimed the incident happened four years before Skype existed and it was discovered that she was of legal age when she alleged the "grooming" happened. Not to mention, there's evidence of him harassing Jesse's (the lead singer) wife, trying to get her fired, as well as various claims of friends/family members of the accuser claiming that she had a habit of accusing various musicians of similar stuff, showcasing that this was a false allegation stemming from either her untreated mental illness or jealously over his fame/relationship.

Didn't he (vaguely) admit to some of it though? I need to do more research. From what I'm seeing on reddit there isn't really a consensus. If you have a link to a breakdown of things I'd like to read more on it.

He admitted to cheating and being a dick to women, not to sexual misconduct with a minor. I had all the receipts years ago but lost them, I need to see if they're stored somewhere.
