choerry Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) It's unfortunate this is the lesson we're taking away from 2024. Kamala was shoved out there with 100 days to campaign and was all smiles while internal polling showed her losing the entire time. As poor of a candidate as she was, the blame rests with Biden for not stepping aside a year ago. I'm thankful Kamala at least gave me (and many others) a sense of optimism for the future compared to the feeling we were sleepwalking into a gun fight with Biden. Johnny Jacobs Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The US isn't ready for a female president. I don't think they will be for a while 1
alexrex Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) It is always easier to blame a woman instead of seeing the real issue lies in deep misogyny and very poor electoral education. The same issue that stopped a prepared woman with a long career in politics from winning an election against a big orange idiotic mamooth. The same issue that took away the right of abortion in many places of the US. Edited 4 hours ago by alexrex 4 1

SupremeGoddess Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The Democrats losing the plot this strongly I've always had a theory Trump wanted them to rot from the inside in rather than actually be a republican
Marianah Adkins Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago A Republican woman president is more possible than a Democratic woman president at this point.

I wouldn't say that (yet) because the R base is still pretty reactionary and a woman has never won the nomination as a Republican.

TiaTamera Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The US has been ran by men since its inception and it's a **** show now. Idk why there's always this logic that men are better to sit as President, when everything that has gone wrong with this country, was done under a man's leadership. 2
IsidoraMarí Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago She had like 100 days for a presidential campaign that Trump started in August of 2022 (~800 days)... It's ridiculous to blame Kamala when it was clearly Joe's fault for not dropping out from the beginning 2

Jotham Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I've followed Lindy Li since 2020. She's been posting some very disappointing takes since Trump got re-elected. I won't be surprised if she makes a full pivot to the Republican Party within these next four years. Her YouTube channel now is constantly demonizing the left and being an apologist for the right, here's an example of one clip she's posted: She's also defended Pete Hegseth - a man with homophobic/misogynist views, sexual allegations, and zero credentials for secretary of defense - and when she deservedly faced backlash for it she played victim and said that the Democratic Party was trying to fire her.
Park Jinyoung Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago As I keep telling my family... It's a tough pill to swallow but the first female president will be a Republican.
