How do these new girls amass a big enough fanbase overnight to be able to go on tour? Is the power of tik tok just that huge? Good for her but I just can't wrap my head around how someone with barely one hit is able to headline a tour and charge so much on top of it.

It's not so much that they've got a fanbase, it's just that people want to be seen to be at the concert of the new IT artist.

I remember when I went to see Raye last year, no one in the crowd knew a single word to any of her songs other than Escapism :rip:

I know it's not right to shame people for the music they like but I am so sorry you are a boo boo the fool clown ass mess if you spend half of your month's rent on this ASMR white bread nepo baby who barely even has any notable music to her name at this point, and her most recognizable song rn is terrible.

Shame on her and I'm judging her for these prices.

This girl has been living in ATRL's collective mind rent free since That's So True became a hit.

Ridic prices, but pay it if you're willing to :michael:

The streaming numbers don't lie, she's a quickly rising new superstar joining Chappell, Sabrina etc so this is unsurprising

The way she makes ATRL fume is kind of a kii though I'm sorry :rip:

On Disgracie's defence, a free ticket would still be too expensive for her.

Idk which one you made this up but it's all I'll be using moving forward, thank you!

the Toronto shows at $1,000 tickets for an outdoor show at a crappy venue that holds 16k people. insane

The ticket prices will drop closer to the concert date.

Scalpers made a stupid decision/risk by buying them all and thinking people will pay Taylor level prices for last minute tickets. :michael:

I imagine they'll range $150-$200 by the time the concert rolls around on most secondary ticket markets.

She has like 2 really good songs... Who on earth would pay more than $150 to see her live? :rip:

she has ONE actual hit :ahh: :ahh: :ahh: watch her dumb stans still paying for overpriced tickets tho

in comparison, Katy Perry has more hits than she will ever had, she put on a spectacular show instead of standing in one place with a guitar, and she doesn't even charge as much

this is what happens when you reward mediocrity, they get brave. i blame Swifties for giving this unseasoned, low sodium, no-fat, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, nut-free, soy-free piece of styrofoam the time of day.

Its very interesting how the mods didnt give you a warning for being OT (you're right though) but I so much as breathe wrong and I get WPs

lmao if she could actually sing and not just do a bad imitation of grace vanderWaal/any other indie girl who thinks singing in cursive is some kind of groundbreaking new talent, then maybe!

Also maybe if she stopped writing music that sounded like a bad imitation of every song on the "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" trilogy's soundtrack...

I was hoping the white whisper indie girl who is faux deep and all about being "real! relatable! quirky!" archetype would die off in the 2020s, but now it seems more popular than ever.

Gracie is lame, her songs are passable I guess, but society are we really making people like her one of the biggest popstars of the year? Be serious!!

I bet her fanbase consists of the most gullible and dumb portion of the swifties.

This is the second pandemic this decade for me. Please put them in lockdown.
