The Beatles biopic selects the most uninspired and basic cast ever

What would you suggest as an "inspiring" and "non basic" cast?

I think Ariana would do a great job as ringo. The animated character Bluey just screams George to me.   Paul should play himself since he has not aged a day.  And then obviously Meryl Streep as John.

What can I say.  I support strong female asian-black-Latina-Italian women. They can't do anything.

Add in Scarlett Johansson as the yellow submarine and this is a stellar cast :clap3:

People always complain about marvel and whatnot but the biopic epidemic is even worse. Always mediocre and lifeless but guaranteed to get awards traction most of the time because they're cheap bait.

You have a very valid point in the quality of these biopic craze. However, absolutely nothing is worse than Marvel

Aren't they all English actors anyway? At least they somewhat resemble who they're portraying and there is no forced inclusivity so it's a win win

I didn't realize this straw man was actually paraded unironically.

I would have included her but the Yellow Submarine is not an Asian character.  I would cast her in the Blackpink biopic though.

Nothing against the actors (Rami Malek, Austin Butler, Timothée Chalamet, (soon to be) Jeremy Allen White just to name a few are all talented actors) but my god make it stop.

I would love if Biopics allowed the creatives freedom with the film form. They (mostly new age ones, things like Coal Miner's Daughter and Walk the Line are fire) tend to follow the same beat, this sounds different because its 4 films from 4 different perspectives so there's big possibilities with it.

I'll take biopics over IP. :suburban:

At first glance I couldn't see any resemblance between the cast and the Beatles but that 2nd actor does look like Lennon in a great great grandfather type of way.
