My queen Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, yes!!

I just know a lot of Geralt purists are mad rn, when it's pretty much given that Ciri would be the MC for the 4th installment and how we played as her in Witcher 3.

The story has always been about her

Spoiler

A little miffed however with how they changed her design a bit and I hear her VA as well...aww

It seems like it's set a good bit of time after the Witcher 3 so it's probably just that she's older now

Will Henry Cavill be back showing off his hairy pits? If so, I'll be tuned IN!

And judging by how witchers age, this could be like hundred of years later. Now I'm excited.

just wondering since I've never played a The Witcher game but do you need to play all of them to understand the whole thing?

i played the third one without playing the other two and i would say i had no issue with the story but playing them before would help you understand some of Geralt's past and a couple of characters… but imo it's not really much of a problem

Not needed but highly recommended. The first game is a masterpiece but the graphics and some of the mechanics are giving 2001 so up to you if you're able to look past that

Have fun! You're going to love it, The Witcher 3 is still one of my top favorite games.

I was shook when I logged on yesterday and seen the trailer drop for this. I've been waiting for more since I finished the 3rd game

No, I've only played the third game and while recurring characters will be new to you it's all its own stories. This one especially is like the start of a "new era" so it should be fine to jump into though I'd really recommend playing 3 as it gives the backstory to the new main character but it's not necessary
