… the original one came out… 12 years ago? Are they trying to move away from animated movies altogether? I loved the visuals from the movie (Coco still is the best I've seen from them though) so I hope they're able to make it work well but this is…. I guess whatever copyrights or trademarks they had on the character(s) are about to expire?

Cuz all there new stuff was flopping and the fandoms of the companies IP's were complaing for years. like why would a Multi-Billion Business not listen to thier audience? Tangle fans have been asking for a Live action. Like that's literally what they wanted?

Well support the new, original releases they put out and things will change over there. However polarizing live actions are, it's the thing that keeps the Disney engine running, along with sequels and nostalgia.

Madonna from 2008 would've actually been a slay, physically she fits the role perfectly. nowadays she's a wax doll, it doesn't work anymore
