Kinda surprised Chappell missed but her echo chamber is pitch perfect for my demo.

Y'all I promise this next part is not meant to be shady, please please please.mp3 read it in good faith. It's funny that so much was made of her meteoric rise and how difficult it was for her when it really wasn't as meteoric as many of her peers. Obviously she struggles more than others with some aspects of fame, but I lowkey think she just had an especially hard time because gay people are so annoying asksksks :deadbanana2:

Well her rise was seen as meteoric mainly due to her social media exposure. Her Lollapalooza, Tiny Desk and Jimmy Fallon performance mainly. But numerically speaking, Good Luck Babe had a VERY slow rise to it's daily peak and the other songs from Midwest Princess also rose very slowly, even after they went viral.

Compare her to Sabrina for example, who had much more instant success and managed to grow in terms of streaming almost every day and you have a much clearer picture. Not to say Chappell isn't popular or succesful, she had an awesome year, but she's definitely not had this behemoth rise to the top like a lot of people pretended she did.

She had a social media boom but it didnt really translate over to the charts.

Chappell success didn't translate to the charts? The album is still top 10 and at some point she had like 6-7 songs charting, all the people in the top 10 benefit from having 2 or more albums and features which Chappel doesn't have yet.

Chappell lacked the instantly huge singles Sabrina had or the back catalogue of Billie to make it into the top 10. Her rise in fame did translate to chart success.
