Everyone has the right to hold their own beliefs, including their views on gay people. If someone dislikes gay people, they are entitled to that belief, for whatever reason they choose. However, the situation changes when those beliefs lead to actions that harm others, such as committing a hate crime or an act of violence against someone simply because of their sexual orientation. Disagreement or dislike is one thing, but acting on those feelings in a way that causes harm crosses a different line. Killing thousands of animals as part of a cultural tradition to "gain good fortune" seems unnecessary and lacking in compassion... Tbh it falls under the same category as bullfighting in Spain and other spanish-speaking countries. Both are barbaric and unnecessary. Culture and tradition being used as shields is even more preposterous though. If an aspect of a culture repulses you then why tf should you show any respect for it?

This type of post is the reason why no one takes vegans seriously You are there for your cause just to hate on someone who eats meat but support someone who kills an animal just for the sake of an ignorant tradition Aren't you the one who said in another thread Korea is in crisis because of feminism?

No I said it was in crisis because of incels and radical women(who often use feminism as an excuse) trigger each other But most users like you who have a reading comprehension of a 4 year old can just interpret Feminism = Bad out of all that thread. 1

clee95 Posted Monday at 04:57 PM Posted Monday at 04:57 PM Every year my family sacrifices about 7-10 chickens for our ancestors for good health and stuff, we do some rituals, and then we have a feast. Do I believe in those beliefs? No, but they give my parents some sort of peace that my grandparents are eating good, getting money, and living well in the afterlife. In my culture, ceremonies always involve animal sacrifices, however, the animals are always consumed after. I view it as the same as regular meat eating with a few extra steps before consuming.

It is a textbook example of what 'different values' means, lol. You have yours, they have theirs. I'm not saying I'm agreeing with their values, but it's just dumb to claim that it's "beyond" it when in reality it is exactly what it is.
Daddy Posted Tuesday at 04:43 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:43 PM Imagine killing an animal just to please a made up thing. Religious people are so weird. Do they at least eat them afterwards to get some use out of it?
