i'm half syrian, half lebanese. i'm devastated yet almost desensitized by now. i know what they're doing yet i can't grasp their motives at all. 

 

what the actual **** is wrong with israel? you can say whatever you want about islam, you can have any opinion you want about fighting terrorists and disabling their leaders but please why do they have to destroy entire villages, cities and countries? why do they have to go berserk and run amok, killing everything and everyone they see during their operations?

 

my biggest dream growing up has always been to travel to both syria and lebanon and see all the places my parents told me about, historical and cultural landmarks and artifacts and feel connected to the place where my ancestors led their lives. it's been looking darker and darker for each year i grow older, but i think i'm finally giving up on that dream now.

The thing is Israel =/= holocaust survivors, they are not oppressed. Israel doesn't get to use the holocaust as an excuse for their colonial state, especially when they treat holocaust survivors horribly.
