While I avoided posting about this because I needed more information, I want to remind people that falsely accused ARE victims, and I have seen it first hand ruin peoples lives, emotional states, end careers, ruin families...  Not only that, but falsely accusing someone makes it even MORE difficult for true victims of sexual assault to be heard.

It's unwise to brand entire fandoms because of the actions of a few, especially when you're judging it based on the comments of the loudest among them. And that goes for anyone, not just people saying stuff about the Hive. But in this case specifically, what you quoted is a remixed retort of what someone else said, so a bit less of a broad statement and more of a petty ***-for-tat.

A townhouse in NY is vastly different from a mansion with a U-shaped driveway. Are you serious? No one would perceive it as a mansion. That part isn't even important imo because a mansion can always be rented for a party - doesn't mean the party thrower owns the house. Victims do forget details often but the details we're talking about are kind of integral to the story. For example, her dad not remembering picking up his 13 year old (autistic? dk if that part has been confirmed) daughter during what would've been a 10 hour trip. Her detailing a specific conversation about a Last Supper tattoo with Benji Madden who was confirmed to be on tour in an entirely different state at the time. Her saying verbatim that she may have made a mistake in "identifying" How can those things be explained? It doesn't seem solid. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I initially believed her so I have no issue with believing her again if some other specific, rock hard evidence somehow came out corroborating what she said but those inconsistencies are damning and it seems like some of you are actually losing your minds trying to prove that it's not.
