The Eras, easily

I know some people here has problem about how to distinguish what's happening in the real world from their own gay's fantasy but I don't know this is THAT serious

What impact would Beyonce being paid millions to perform at a private event have on the real world? And we all know Eras Tour is much bigger than the other tour so this thread is pointless

I've never heard anyone ever talking about Beyoncé's tour.

The only time I've heard people talk about her tour outside of ATRL is in conversations about the Eras Tour :deadbanana2:

Saying this as one of the biggest 143 defenders on this forum is insane

I'm immersed in pop culture, it's not my fault the only time I see Taylor brought up it's sales meanwhile it's Beyoncé's performances and artistry

Well that's the problem - you're too immersed and can't see the fores for the trees. People who don't know a thing about pop culture would be better sample to ask.

Nobody cares about tours other than the people who attend it...

As always for Taylor Swift her impact is numbers and money. But the Eras tour was very global and long lasting so it makes sense to choose it. However, in terms of musicality, excellence, being the standard for performance and art, Beyoncé will always set the bar and that's exactly what RWT and her Dubai performance did. The Drunk in Love Dubai mix was more talked about than any single performance Taylor has done her entire career. The mute challenge was a bigger pop culture moment than anything Taylor's done since maybe LWYMMD

There's no way you legitimately believe this :rip:

Eras

Overall I'd give the edge to the Eras tour, especially business wise. The ticketmaster congress debacle, the eras movie event, the book, etc etc etc. It's basically a victory lap of Taylor's success, people will be studying on how her team pulled all of this off.

However I think creatively more artists will be inspired by Beyoncé's tour artistically. She is a master class of performance and stage presence, in 10 years youll be hearing the new batch of artists talking about attending the renaissance tour.

Both massively successful tours, and I wish both fanbases could give flowers when they're due

Literally no one has even watched that tour to be inspired by it. And if they did, they sure stopped talking about it just a few days later. You guys can give it up.

!! The way they talked it's like there's no positive takeaways from the Eras Tour artistically when it's done many things masterfully.

ArTiStS wiLL sTiLL tALk aBouT RWT iN 10 yEaRs umh let's wait for a bit before making conclusions

Also did you catch how snobby they were being when they tried to "praise" Taylor?

"… how her team pulled this off." :juanny: Discrediting Taylor at every chance they got as if Eras Tour's unprecedented success wasn't mostly because of Taylor. 🙄😒 The  backhanded ahh compliment :isudumblmao:

I think the stats, achievements and even this poll result speak for itself.

How about a both option? In my opinion, both tours have been quite impactful - not only because they grossed a lot of money, but the way they moved economies, made them improve, had people discussing and doing challenges all over social media should be taken into account. Taylor Swift is currently the biggest pop girl out there and her massive base would, of course, move wherever to see her. Comparing them is an unnecessary set up.

I voted Eras tour, though. Taylor did all that. :clap3:

Renaissance for me. I remember the set list, her outfits, the stage design.

I know nothing about Eras.

The question wasn't which one you personally vibe with the most but rather which one had more influence generally speaking. Hope that helps! :santa:

What is this "The Culture" you speak of? Because if it's "The Culture" in its origin form, then RENAISSANCE  WORLD TOUR.

I mean we all saw the eras tour crowds and it differently had an impact on a certain breed alright :foxaylove2:

Went to both, enjoyed both. Impact wise though, the Eras tour clears.

The whole city went out for Taylor with pop-up markets, block signs, Eras-themed signs and logos on public transit, etc etc. It was a proper event.

RWT was another concert.
