I knew exactly what she was talking about, but the issue was that she made a terrible album and a terrible movie and a terrible documentary about how powerful her love was, and made us all hear about it for years. it was so fake and weird we all saw through it and then she got divorced. The orange drink was just so cringe that it was ONE of the things people were laughing at

The orange drink / Vogue interview had been online for over a year already, though. No one thought it was cringe then, but suddenly a 1 year old clip kicked off a hate campaign. It was odd. Almost organized in a way.

As for the "terrible" album, movie and doc:  they truly weren't. Critics enjoyed it!

The film is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes (75%), the doc too (100% even), and the album has a 61 score on Meta Critic (meaning Generally Favorable Reviews). Pitchfork gave the album a 6.6.
