Btw, reading this just compels me to say it. Many people took Madonna's Billboard speech about being the only one who is still standing amongst her generation of artists in the wrong way which is not surprising considering it's just another day of Madonna infuriating people. She was called pretentious and egotistical, but I fail to see how she is wrong. 

For the entirety of her prime, people anticipated her to finally retreat like the many female artists who did before Madonna, but she dared to challenge them and here she is with us nearly 45 years later. She is still making global hits with the generation's most popular celebrities as she has done in the previous generations, her influence remains ingrained in the frame of modern pop culture, she continues breaking records with her concert attendance numbers, and she remains a point of popular discussion. She is genuinely the last of her generation still playing the game five decades later.

She'll always be the Queen of Pop. This is coming from a Zoomer (Gen Z)
