why do we keep platforming a person who has crossed SEVERAL lines like her? She literally was one of the most bigoted and disgusting trolls on the internet. She was so racist and cruel. I hate that we platform ppl like her who should be shunned. I'm not saying ppl cant change and stuff but being a public figure is a PRIVILEGE not a human right. If you say some of the most VILE, racist and cruel things ever...why platform them and give them more privilege? gross

She's the ONLY one in that shock value YouTube era who actually owns up to their mistakes and doesn't give excuses while also being diagnosed with personality disorders and being honest about drug use. Redemption arches are so good to see IMO. I'm happy for her

Feel free to provide evidence to the contrary if im wrong, but I think most of her offensive comments were jokes? And look, you're totally within your rights to think that -ist or -phobic jokes aren't okay, but the reality is most people are fine with them so long as they are just that — jokes — and not serious.

There's a huge difference between making fun of stereotypes or having some offensive punchlines targeting certain minority or ethnic groups and being an ACTUAL hateful person a la Nick Fuentes or Azealia Banks for example. The worst things Trisha has done as far as I know have been in jest.

There's also a huge difference in making actual jokes with the intention of being humorous and being like Dave Chappelle, who will get on stage and insinuate trans people aren't real with no punchline and then try to pass it off as comedy.
