You guys need to look beyond your lack of respect for Azealia. It's not about her specifically. It's about a racist man crying about how much he's not a racist (after admitting to enjoying watching black women be brutalized and ridiculing Ice Spice for her looks) and then threatening physical violence against a woman of color.

 

Azealia has serious mental issues, and beyond that, she's just a cruel person. None of that however justifies what he said.

If you're so damn concerned about racism and misogyny, then you would know a lot better than to disregard Matty's actions and words just because Azealia is a bad person herself.

I donʻt care about either of them - theyʻre both terrible. But she is not and never will be a victim. Sheʻs an evil bully who canʻt take 1% of the disgusting **** she dishes out.

You still don't get it, so let me make this very clear:

 

Matty Healy is a racist son of a ***** who gets off on watching black women be degraded and brutalized. He thinks it's funny to ridicule women of color for their looks, and he does it publicly. And despite his half-hearted attempts at proving that he is supposed better than that, he decided to publically threaten a woman of color.

 

What matters here is that he says and does these things because there is something rotten in him, the same way Azealia has something rotten in her that makes her hurl homphobic and racist slurs every chance she gets.

 

He could be saying these things to a wall, and it would not make them any less repugnant or a sign of his true nature. It's his intention. Just like Azealia, he is willfully a bad person.
