That's not a lot of time unless she's putting something out soon. Football season will be over in a couple of months… we know she still has two TV albums left and maybe a third if she does the holiday album. I don't know that we'll get a new album if she's taking a break but you never know. She may tour again while it's football season.

I thought she might consider "vault" / any new holiday songs or renditions she may tack on as "new music."

 

but I just remembered Sabrina Carpenter's holiday special on Netflix premieres this week. maybe she'll make a guest appearance / sing a holiday duet and then disappear for a bit after her shows this weekend.

If it's new music, I hope that it is different from TTPD in the sense that the production accentuates the lyrics instead of dulling them and taking the air out of them. When I go back to TTPD, my main complaint isn't the writing (which is frankly whack and bizarre in places) it's the fact the the music Jack produced doesn't match its freak. Look how The Smallest Man and Who's Afraid come alive on tour.
 

I'd love her to put out a ten track album with organic (not necessarily acoustic) production that isn't so polished and levelled. Sonic cohesion isn't all that important.

Taylor doesn't get enough credit for how unpredictable she is. I love that nobody knows her next move, despite millions of people checking every post, every word she utters, she always stays four steps ahead. and it's not just when she will release- it's what it will sound like, what promo she will do etc. each time is a new roll of the dice.
