Agreed that's a naive take, but a random local state representative tweeting "we should ban gay marriage" means nothing. State representatives tweet all sorts of extreme insane things with no basis in reality.

Oh PLEASE. Trans activists are the ones that have thrown trans people under the bus, got behind the wheel and ran them over and over with their insufferable behavior and creating a boundless trans 'umbrella' where anyone could identify as anything and weaponized transphobia to silence any critic or opposing viewpoint. Then the audacity to turn to gays and be like, see, since you didn't support our brain rot, now they're coming after gay marriage. Trans people existed and GAY MARRIAGE still passed. It's the new activism (regarding multiple social issues) that has turned people all the way off INCLUDING THOSE THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSEDLY GOING TO HELP. The social progressive left has been an absolute unmitigated disaster and the results of the election prove it.
