Heirloom Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago The contrast with her now speaking like she's a Transatlantic actress 1
Slap Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Wait what do you mean blaccent, is still it a blaccent if they're black? I thought that was just for white people? 3
Brooklyn Baby Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I'm glad she's not doing this anymore. It's unbelievably cringe. I'd rather she speak like Glinda for the rest of her life.
modeblock Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago It was cringe to me in real time, but looking back it looks kinda quaint i'm not black but i was kinda offended with her adopting like "ghetto" latino culture motifs as well. it just kinda reeked a bit of white girl who's dOwN with the ~~homies~~ a bit idk. i worked to get over it bc i like her and her music, and her getting rid of the tan was a great step her changing her accent and the tanning seems much less like a post malone culture vulture maga tease and much more her becoming more self-aware about it and realizing how it may come off in a way she did not want it to
