I mean… whilst I agree with this, isn't it Billboard themselves who set the rules on how much weighting streaming gets? So they're kinda criticising themselves?

Some of you act like Billboard swore a solemn music industry Hippocratic Oath.  They have have a division that factually reports the charts, and then they also editorialize.  It's not anti-journalistic value the way you want it to be.

I can say with completely sincerity that I would not care and go about my day.  It's people on a podcast discussing the list as cultural critics.  There are many different kinds of journalism, and it's baffling to me people don't get that.  Even the most esteemed newspapers in the world have op-eds and cultural critique.
